It's exciting to imagine what the sample libraries of the future will hold. Toontrack's Superior Drummer 3 virtual drums now has 230 GB of material for drums alone, which is quite impressive! The 230 GB is distributed over eleven mic positions, so you end up with about 21 GB of sounds. The positions are all suitable for (extreme) surround configurations. The 230 GB is what gives you space to manoeuvre while mixing. You can also install other configurations of minimal 41 GB in size, so if you don't need all the surround options, you don't need to install the entire 230 GB.
Features of the Toontrack Superior Drummer 3
This library contains seven drum kits by Ayotte, Gretsch, Pearl, Premier, Yamaha and two by Ludwig. There are 25 snares and sixteen bass drums to choose from kicks, as well as 350 vintage drum machine sounds. The quality of these samples are top-notch, partially due to the fact that the renowned George Massenburg helped engineer the collection. There are mix presets, a MIDI grid editor, and you can even import your own samples. For in-the-box producers in particular, this drum collection is an essential tool.

Op genomen in de Galaxy Studio te Mol België Die tot de nummer 1 van Europa behoord
Het is een redelijk zwaar pakket om te downloaden het is dan ook aan te bevelen om bij Toontrack je eerst te registreren daarna is het installeren een fluitje van cent
Ik was altijd zeer kritische qua drumgeluid uit een e-drum set
maar dit drum softwarepakket van Toontrack
brengt het e-drummen weer tot een heel ander level
voor drummers die totaal geen ervaring hebben (zoals ik zelf ) met kabels /midi/interface /midi noot nr. en alle andere benamingen (ik hoorde het in Keulen donderen ,en geloof me Keulen is hier heel erg ver vandaan)
Dus Stel ik toch maar voor RTFM
