With more than 22,000 samples, over 3,800 grooves and numerous editing and mixing options, Steinberg's Groove Agent 4 is an interesting choice for producers, beatmakers and songwriters alike. With this Educational Edition, Steinberg offers students the regular version of their comprehensive virtual drum studio at a discount, provided they're able to show a valid student ID. The program was made to excel in the studio, on stage and in your rehearsal space, and serves as a creative source of inspiration for your music productions and compositions at home or on the road. Groove Agent 4 was designed to be used in Cubase, but can also function as a stand-alone program. If you like, you can even use your Groove Agent 4 samples for your electronic drum kit.

Style Player

Using the software's Style Player feature, you can select a groove and edit it to suit your preferences. It allows you to adjust the intensity of the rhythm, and to experiment with the patterns within a groove - ideal for songwriters and producers!

Three Agents: Acoustic, Beat and Percussion

The Acoustic Agent offers a choice of three drum kits: a Studio Kit (Yamaha), a Rock Kit (Pearl) and a Vintage Kit (Ludwig). To ensure excellent audio quality and subtle nuances, all three kits have been recorded in minute detail. All of Groove Agent's samples are available in 16-bit and 24-bit versions, with elaborate control for overhead and room mics, bleed in other microphones, EQ and compression. You can even tune the kits and determine how far the hi-hats are opened.

The Beat Agent is a practical tool for productions that require electronic drum sounds. Featuring over 100 drum kits as well as the possibility of creating your own kits, the Beat Agent is particularly interesting for producers and beatmakers.

The Percussion Agent, finally, allows you to add a special touch to your drum grooves by means of bongos, congas, cowbells, shakers and tambourines. You're free to combine up to eight substyles, and to intuitively alter the complexity and intensity using an XY control.

Not only is Groove Agent 4 an exceptionally comprehensive virtual drum studio, it's quite user-friendly too. Whether you're a musician, a producer or a songwriter, you'll be creating awesome grooves in no time. It's up to you how far you want to take your mixes - feel free to explore the many options of the Steinberg program. The software supports the following languages: English, German and French. Please note: in order to purchase this Educational edition, you must be able to show a valid student ID.

Super drum computer VST. De akoestische kits klinken geweldig en de drumgrooves (midi files) klinken heel realistisch. De sound van de kits kan je tot het oneindige wijzigen. De elektronische kits kan je met de interne effecten serieus manipuleren tot een vette, eigentijdse sound. Perfect integreerbaar in Cubase. Heel 'user friendly' en a.d.h.v. de de officiële YOUTUBE CUBASE/STEINBERG filmpjes (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcQBdibdDxH2ngu3kNPYOEA)haal je het beste uit deze GROOVE AGENT 4. Ik ben alvast een grote fan (maar dat kan natuurlijk niet anders dan voor een echte STEINIE :)! Perfecte service en de beste prijs van gans Europa!
