Where affordable yet durable cymbals are concerned, Meinl has a real winner on its hands with their HCS series, as that consists entirely of budget-friendly cymbals of all shapes and sizes that also sound remarkably well! The cymbals are made of MS63 brass and shaped and finished in a modern, automated process, without losing sight of European cymbal-making traditions.

Meinl HCS12S

The HCS12S is the largest splash cymbal in the HCS series, and has a 12-inch diameter. This makes it sound a bit beefier than its smaller siblings, and gives it a slightly lower pitch. It has great, direct response and produces accents that have a bright, cutting sound with average sustain. This tasteful and very affordable cymbal allows you to punctuate your grooves and fills with quick accents, which really livens things up!
