Deze kits zien er degelijk uit maar eens geassembleerd is dit het een fiasco, onmogelijk correct te intoneren, hals is geen standard en past enkel op deze kit, hals vervangen door een betere is onmogelijk. Dikwijls putten, of beschadiging in de body, waarschijnlijk door de weinige zorg bij het verpakken.

De enige reden dat ik slechts 4 sterren geef ipv 5, is omdat er lijmresten zijn waar de gekleefde delen body aan elkaar hangen. En daardoor is het stainen op enkele plaatsen niet mooi.

Voor de rest is er onmogelijk te klagen. Ik betaalde 57 euro inclusief verzending wegens de lentedeals.
De gitaar ziet er na het stain- en lakwerk vrij goed uit. En mits upgrade van de tuners en pickups klinkt ze ook nog eens goed.

Gezien er geen handleiding bij komt heb ik wel even online moeten uitzoeken hoe ik de kabeltjes moest solderen.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a young member of the family who is learning to play the guitar. He already has a couple of instruments so I thought this would be a good way for him to understand more of how they actually work and how to set them up.

All the parts were well made and the neck fits the neck pock very well. There were no rough marks on the body, no high or sprouting frets and all of the parts were there.

Everything went together well and with a little adjustment to get the intonation right and it played very well.

He has now removed everything and is in the process of priming and painting the body.

In short he has ended up,with a very playable instrument and a good platform for him to experiment with upgrades in due corse. Honestly worth the money.

Ik snap eerlijk gezegd niet sommige reacties van matig dit en dat.. Ik heb een Telecaster body naar mijn smaak kunnen maken. De nek was helemaal oke, frets prima geen onregelmatigheden. Tuners voldoen maar tzt vervangbaar door locking tuners. Bijgeleverde snaren helemaal niet slecht maar binnenkort ga ik die vervangen door betere. Bridge zeer goed voor de prijs, kortom ik ben zeer tevreden over de koop.

Having resurrected a 'car boot' stratocaster recently, I thought it was time to move on to building a guitar kit. This one from Fazely is reasonably good for the price. Here's a few things you might want to consider if you buy one.

If you wish to add colour to your body work, the wood grain is quite deep in places so you might have to use a levelling compound for a smooth finish.

Masking the black trim is a faff but it can be done. Might be better if Fazely offered a kit with no trim for painting. (Apologies if they already do - haven't seen one)

When assembled it will need a complete setup to get the best sound out of it, so you will need some basic guitar tech tools.

Other than that it was satisfying to build and I intend to get better at playing, using my new Tele...
