Descrizione

Every audio professional knows that the name Neumann equals legendary microphones. However, in cooperation with Klein & Hummel, Neumann have released a brilliant sounding series of studio monitors! The KH 120 AW is the smallest monitor from the series and features a neat white finish. Despite its small size, this monitor produces a full, linear, dynamic and detailed sound.

The Neumann KH 120 AW features a 5.25-inch woofer with sandwich diaphragm and a 1-inch dome tweeter. It's driven by an AB amp with a lot of headroom, preventing distortion. In order to completely fine-tune the sound, a control panel at the rear of the unit can be used to eliminate any acoustic influences created by the space you're working in.

Special Housing

The KH 120 AW's housing doesn't only have a neat white colour, the construction has also been specially designed. Thanks to the integrated waveguide (horn) for the tweeter, the high frequencies are distributed perfectly while the shape of the woofer is continued in the housing, so that low frequencies of 52 Hz can even be reached. The speaker is quite heavy, thanks to its magnetically shielded, die-cast aluminium housing. This way, internal resonances are minimised and heat is more efficiently dissipated.
