Floor monitors enable musicians to hear themselves while they're on stage. Needless to say, the better they hear themselves, the better their performances will be. To that end, Italian brand RCF have developed the top-quality ST 15-SMA. It's equipped with two amplifiers that produce a peak output of no less than 1200 watts delivered through a 15-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver. The ST 15-SMA can be used as a standard wedge or even mounted on a stand thanks to its built-in pole mount.

RCF ST 15-SMA: dual amplifiers

The bi-amp configuration was chosen for its ability to deliver optimal sound. This means that the woofer and the driver have their own amplifiers with 400 watts and 200 watts of RMS power respectively. Together they produce a maximum SPL of 131 dB and have a frequency range of 45 Hz to 20 kHz with an accuracy of 3 dB. A robust wooden housing ensures minimal resonance.
