The Roland Torcido is the distortion effect module in Roland's Eurorack range. Distortion isn't the most subtle of effects; apply it to a bass sound with a resonating filter and you'll know exactly what we mean. Its internal components are all digital, but thanks to its highly accurate 24-bit encoders, you can achieve the most detailed results.

Characteristics of the Roland Torcido

This 21HP Eurorack module can be mounted in a rack, of course, but it's also possible to just place it on your desk. Featuring modern technology, it can be programmed using an external PC or Mac, or even an iOS or Android device. Astute observers may have already spotted the word 'tube' on the module's front panel.
