Wireless microphones have become immensely popular over the last few years now that manufacturing its technology has become easier. Here, Devine present the wireless WMD 168 MKII microphone system equipped with infra-red receiver synchronisation, an LCD display, and modern, reliable technology.

Functionality of the WMD 168 MKII

The WMD 168 MKII wireless system consists of a compact 19-inch receiver and two wireless handheld microphones, which are powered by two AA batteries each and can function from 8 to 20 hours, depending on the quality of the batteries. The  displays of the receiver and the microphones are easy to read. On the receiver, it shows the set frequency and channel as well as the strength of the wireless signal, while the display on the handheld shows information pertaining to battery status, signal strength and audio volume.

IR Synchronisation

To synchronise frequencies on the wireless microphone and receiver via infra-red, hold the mic in front of the receiver's IR sensor and the two will connect automatically. If the set frequency has some interference, you can adjust the frequency manually on the receiver and the handheld. You can also lock the buttons on the handheld so only your trusted sound engineer is able to tweak the settings.
