With the 9300, Gretsch gave new life to the Gretsch New Yorker mandolin. The Gretsch G9311 now offers you a modern electro-acoustic alternative. The instrument is equipped with a high-quality pickup from renowned manufacturer Fishman, the M-300 'Nashville,' which accurately registers the sound of the mandolin. This means that, if you choose to, you can amplify the powerful acoustic sound of the G9311 by connecting it to a mixer or an amplifier.

The Gretsch New Yorker Supreme is equipped with a solid mahogany body, which provides the clear 2x4-string mandolin sound with considerable volume and richness, turning this G9311 into more than just a starter model. Mooie mandoline met een behoorlijke power! Daar ga ik nog veel plezieren beleven. Wel een misser dat Bax geen mandoline-strap verkoopt, want dat hoort er toch bij! De bijbestelde Hercules stand is ook prima.

Ik heb deze mandoline nu een week in huis. Het is een mooie mandoline voor een leuke prijs. De sound is prachtig, langere sustain dan de goedkopere mandoline die ik heb.
Nadat ik de brug iets heb versteld, wat heel makkelijk is, is hij goed te bespelen.
Ook het element wat erin zit heeft een mooi helder geluid. Live kan ik met deze mandoline dus ook goed uit de voeten.

Als je een betaalbare, professionelere mandoline wilt is dit een aanrader.
