Set up for live sound as well as network-based recording studios, the Universal Audio Apollo x16D Audio Interface boasts advanced 16x16 Thunderbolt performance, elite Apollo X audio conversion and HEXA core DSP processing. Basically, this unit supports real-time mixing and recording during live shows with the help of over 200 UAD plugins, including emulations of renowned hardware from some of the big names, like Neve, SSL, Auto-Tune, Teletronix LA-2A, 1176 compressors, Pultec EQs and even Neve channel strips. The Apollo x16D places supreme audio quality and versatile plugin effects within effortless reach, no matter where you're working.

Seamless Integration & Expansion Options

The powerful digital mixing engine at the core of the Apollo x16D grants extensive control over every input, output and the plugin routing, making it quick and easy to build mixes and manage effects on the spot. Settings can be immediately recalled via MIDI, meaning that live shows are never interrupted, and up to four units can be linked to build a 64-channel Dante system with network redundancy or integrated with other Apollo interfaces over Thunderbolt so the rig can be expanded via Dante - ideal for studios that plan to grow a multi-room space without having to start all over again.

Immersive Audio & Professional Connections

After live gigs, the Apollo x16D effortlessly transforms into an all-in-one studio monitoring hub for mixing in formats up to 9.1.6. This makes it possible to create immersive 16 channel audio for Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, Sony 360 Reality Audio and other formats, offering all audio professionals an unparalleled level of flexibility.
