This 18-inch bass drum produces a clear tone and has great resonance, partly because Tama has chosen to glue the entire wrap to the shell of this bass drum. Besides enhancing shell resonance, the Hairline Black wrap also helps to give the kit its professional look. You also get a bass drum lifter, so that your beater always strikes the middle of the drumhead.
Imperialstar series enhanced
Tama took a good look at every little detail of their Imperialstar drums, and then decided what needed improvement. One of those improvements is the fact that the wrap has been completely glued to the shells, while other manufacturers only apply glue to a few spots. Gluing the wrap in its entirety greatly improves the resonance of the shells. Furthermore, the Accu-Tune hoops will ensure that your bass drum will remain consistently tuned.
