With the EHX Satisfaction Fuzz you can create the same fuzz featured in the legendary Rolling Stones song. Before the Satisfaction Fuzz came along, that was only possible if you could afford an original Maestro Fuzz FZ1A, but this handy EHX pedal places the delectable fuzz sound within your reach for a very reasonable price.
Using the Satisfaction Fuzz
Plug your guitar into the jack input of the EHX Satisfaction Fuzz and use the attack knob - you might remember it from the original FZ1A - to adjust the character of the fuzz. The stomp box features true bypass, so it won't affect your sound in any way once you turn it off. The pedal is powered by a 9-volt battery, or by an optional 9-volt power adapter.

bon produit très ciblé pour jouer le riff de "satisfaction" des stones. cette pédale reproduit le son de la Maestro FZ1A mais est en fait le circuit de la jordan bosstone fuzz des années 60 avec quelques composants en moins. On peut élargir son spectre sonore en rajoutant un ou deux composants supplémentaires et un switch.

Vond 't geen fijn geluid. Knerpend schellig en voegt niets toe aan mijn OCD overdrive waar ik ook een soortgelijk, maar dan veel toffer geluid/effect uit kan halen.......teruggestuurd naar Bax, was geen enkel probleem

Toen ik de fuzz voor het eerst gebruikte bij de band vond ik het ontzettend schel. Mijn eerste indruk viel dus tegen. Later de fuzz gecombineerd met mijn overdrive en dat klonk al een stuk beter. Pas toen we met de hele band aan het spelen waren kwam de fuzz tot zijn recht. Opeens had het overstuurde geluid een heerlijk helder randje. Bij andere nummers ook het pedaal gebruikt zonder extra distortion er bij aan te zetten. Klonk ook prima. Vier sterren omdat een toonregeling ontbreekt en dat had nog wat extra opties kunnen opleveren. Het is het zesde pedaal van EHX op mijn pedalboard en een blijvertje!

Ik heb deze fuzz nu twee maanden, dus tijd genoeg gehad om te testen.
Dit is een van de weinige fuzz pedalen waar ik tevreden over ben. De meeste lijken meer op distortion dan op fuzz.
Deze zingt zoals het hoort zeker als je hem op ongeveer 25% zet, prachtig geluid echt jaren 60.
Wat me vooral opvalt is de minimale verkleuring van het gehele geluidsspectrum buiten de gitaartoon om.
Strak, zeer strak apparaatje.
