Descrizione

The Mackie S512 is part of the S500 series of passive speakers. Like all S500 models, it delivers typical Mackie power and quality, packed into a durable cabinet that's made entirely of wood. The S512 full-range speaker is the most compact model from the high-grade series, and boasts a 12-inch woofer, a 1-inch driver and a maximum power capacity of 250 watts RMS. For an affordable price, this passive Mackie speaker offers the build, power and audio quality to pull off proper touring jobs.

Protective features of the S512

The S-512 is fitted with protective corners (which also make it easier to stack the speakers) and a PVC vinyl finish that keeps it safe from scratches and moisture. Other protective features include the HF protection circuit, which automatically reduces high frequencies when the driver is in danger of getting damaged. The S512's wooden cabinet is not just remarkably robust, but also ensures an optimal acoustic response without any annoying rattles or vibrations.

Combined with, for instance, the S518s subwoofer, the FRS amplifier and the SP260 processor, Mackie's S500 speakers allow you to create an optimised passive system that you'll enjoy for years to come.
