The DAP Splash 12A is an active speaker with a high sound quality and an impressive volume. Still, DAP have managed to keep the price at a level that will appeal to many a musician, band or DJ. Especially in smaller rooms, stages and pubs, this 200W speaker (that is provided with a 12-inch woofer) delivers excellent performances. The durable Splash that is made of ABS, is easy to carry thanks to three ergonomic and practical handles and relatively light weight. Furthermore, Splash speakers can easily be stacked thanks to their rubber feet and recesses on the top.

Connecting the Splash 12A

The great-sounding and modern Splash 12A can be connected to a mixer via an XLR or jack cable. You can also directly plug in a dynamic microphone, however. With the special contour switch, the sound is optimised for the playback of music. For PA applications, the speaker can be mounted on a stand with standard 35mm tube. The Splash is also a great choice for monitor applications: with its specially shaped side, you can easily place it in a 45-degree position on the stage.
