ATV's EXS electronic drum kits are the second series to be introduced by the Japanese brand. They offer the same top-quality as the fantastic-sounding aDrums, but have more compact shells. Rather than giving you lots of different drum sounds you'll probably never use, ATV focuses on making the ones they do give you sound exceptionally good.

ATV EXS-5 electronic drum kit

The EXS-5 electronic drum kit consists of a 13-inch bass drum, a 13-inch snare drum, two 10-inch toms, a 13-inch tom, a 14-inch hi-hat, two 14-inch crash cymbals and a 16-inch ride. All of the pads are designed to give you a realistic feel and response and the bass drum is also suitable for those who use a double bass drum pedal. You also get the xD3 drum module and a rack.

ATV xD3 drum module

The xD3 drum module is the beating heart of this electronic drum kit. It's easy to use and has comprehensive functionality and connection possibilities. There are 5 fantastic-sounding kits on board and you can tweak lots of different settings. There are 20 built-in songs for you to play along with and there are practice and recording functions as well as a built-in metronome to help you keep time. If you're worried that sounds from 5 drum kits is not enough, you'll be pleased to know that you can always download extra sounds from ATV's website and upload them to the module via the SD card slot. There's MIDI on board too so that you can connect a computer and an auxiliary input so that you can connect an external audio source as well. You can enjoy the sound of these drums at any time thanks to the headphone socket and when you want others to hear them too, you can connect a PA or amplifier via the jack outputs.
