In honour of Andy Wood, Wampler presents a solid, satisfying brick of a two-channel overdrive. The Signature Gearbox features a lightly tweaked Tumnus on channel 1 and a modified Pinnacle on channel 2, which already means that you're looking at a pedal that's able to straddle a vast array of genres and playing styles. Each drive flavour is toggled via its own footswitch and, when both are engaged at the same time, the Order mini-switch can be flipped to dictate the drive-chain placement.
The Wampler Gearbox: Shift Up
So that both of the effects housed by the Wampler Gearbox Andy Wood Signature Overdrive Pedal can be switched in series and parallel, each channel features independent input and output ports, making it possible to hook up external switches so the effects can be sent to separate amplifiers, or to provide both drives with their own input signal. Andy Wood named this versatile chunk 'the Gearbox' for good reason, since this pedal simply gives your guitar sound some solid, driving power.
