Joining hands to bring the guitar world into a new age of distortion, fuzz and boosting potential, EarthQuaker Devices and American metal experimentalists Sunn O))) present the third edition of the Life Pedal. Putting everything in one stompbox, this model is home to that unmistakable Sunn O))) sound, so you're getting all the tools required to build giant sonic landscapes and otherworldly atmospherics - all of it inspired by the Shin-Ei FY2, FY6 fuzz and the infamous, fully overdriven sound of a 100 Watt Model T Sunn amplifier (that sadly no longer exists).

So, with this three-button box, you already know you're getting the colossal, all-consuming sound that Steve Albini recorded on the seminary album, Life Metal. From left to right, you can toggle the distortion, octave up and booster on and off, then using the set of six control pots, the sound of the Life Pedal V3 can be customised at will. Dial in your distortion level, set the clipping and then colour everything in with the Filter pot.
