Descrizione

DI boxes are often used to convert unbalanced signals to balanced signals. This Samson MDA1 is one such DI box, but it is an active one. With a passive DI box, a transformer is used to keep the signal hum-free, but this also amounts to a fair bit of signal loss. The cables after the DI will work as a condenser as well, making the sound duller. An active DI box doesn't suffer from such issues, however - the signal is buffered and brought back up to the old level. Power is provided by a battery or phantom power supply. When the signal level gets too high, you can attenuate it via a -15 or -30dB pad.

Het is een fantastisch apparaat. Doet precies wat het moet doen en geeft beetje boost aan het signaal om goed op te kunnen nemen.
Helaas lag het product de dag na bestelling niet klaar in Goes, dus heb het apparaat elders besteld en de order bij BAX geannuleerd.

De Di doet wat het moet doen. Gitaar en versterker geven een beter geluid via het mengpaneel met de Di ertussen. Ruis en bijgeluiden zijn verleden tijd. Ook weer snelle levering van Bax.

Been using this regularly once every week for the past year and it has performed exceedingly well. I love the attenuation switches, the sturdy construction of the whole unit and the blue box look of it. Would definitely recommend it

Bonjour ,

j'ai acheté un jeudi cette Box chez Bax Music , le samedi elle était déjà chez moi connectée à l'entrée Line In de ma carte son de mon PC ; j'ai branché ma guitare électrique sur l'Input de la Box et appuyé sur Ground pour supprimer le souffle et ainsi j'ai pu tout simplement m'enregistrer dans Cubase avec un signal audio conséquent . Transaction sans soucis .

This is a well built sturdy DI box that is just what I wanted to add to me pedal chain.

I like it's simplicity and it sounds good with no obvious colouration to the sound. It works a treat with passive instruments to preserve the top whilst staying noise free. It looks and feels built to last.

A neat little active DI that produces a great sound in a solid and weighty box. Have tried it in my live and studio rigs and its provides a clean and present sound. Connectors/Switches are all solid and positive feeling. Will probably be stocking up on these very soon.
