This is the educational version and is available to students and teachers only. During registration, certain documents will be requested as proof of studentship. See Tips for further details.

Of course you could teach yourself to use Ableton Live but it's always a much smoother (and faster) process with a great teacher at your side. Especially for students of the music production craft, Ableton offer up their educational version of Live 10 Suite with all the same streamlined functionality at more considerate price. To get yourself a copy, verification of your student status will be requested when registering to download from the Ableton website.

• Please note: Ableton Live only operates on a 64-bit system.

• are currently registered as a full-time student (high school students included)
• are a part-time student (more than 20 hours per week)
• are taking an Ableton Live class (not including weekend seminars)
• are a teacher working at a school or other educational establishment. Part-time and private teachers need to be teaching for at least 20 hours a week to qualify.

Eligibility will be checked during Ableton's registration process. Without sufficient proof (e.g. a valid student card) the software cannot be unlocked.
