The TH-900 headphones' housing

The housing is made from Japanese cherry and finished with a traditional Japanese lacquer called Urushi. Cherry wood is very rigid, with a dense texture that has optimal acoustic properties. The Urushi lacquering is done by hand, by craftsmen from a group that has existed for more than 100 years.

The 7N-OFC cable

The headphones come with a delightfully finished, 3-metre long, robust cable with a gold-plated jack plug. The cable itself is made of 7N oxygen-free copper, otherwise known as OFC. The Fostex TH-900 headphones come beautifully boxed with an included stand.
