Yamaha's LS26 ARE is a western acoustic guitar with outstanding quality. Fashioned from premium wood types, this guitar was manufactured by a brand with years of guitar-building experience under its belt. With all that experience, Yamaha knows how to choose great materials, and that's why this guitar features a solid Engelmann spruce top, for light weight and a tight, solid sound. Thanks to the ARE wood-processing technology, this guitar is also capable of loud dynamics and excellent tonal clarity. Down to the details such as the gold-plated open tuners (SE700XG), the black ebony bridge, mother-of-pearl inlays and tortoise pickguard, the LS26 ARE is a complete, stylish classic. LS26 ARE: Acoustic Resonance Enhancement

Even though this guitar already has a solid basis with its quality wood types, Yamaha wanted to make it even better by applying their modern wood-processing technology. The spruce top has been processed with the help of Acoustic Resonance Enhancement technology, which adjusts the temperature, moisture and air pressure in such a way as to alter the entire molecular structure of the wood, giving it optimal acoustic characteristics such as you'll hear in vintage instruments. This means you get a perfect, aged sound right out of the box with the Yamaha LS26.

Yamaha LS26 ARE: bracing & neck

This LS26 features a newly developed interior bracing structure, which keeps the clarity of the L-series sound intact, while optimising the response of the low registers. Another new design can be found in the neck profile, whereby the string distance and height, fretboard binding and tapered angle were chosen to give modern-day traditional guitarists everything they might need. The result is excellent grip and supple playing over the entire fretboard. Finally, thanks to the 5-part mahogany/rosewood neck design, its neck won't easily bend or warp, providing you with an incredibly stable, sturdy neck.
