Yamaha's CPX1000 Ultra Marine is an electro-acoustic guitar from the CPX series with a high degree of playing comfort and top-quality sound. The elegant curves on its body and the slim neck are just two of the design elements that make this model a pleasure to play. Its well-balanced acoustic sound is accurately delivered to an amplifier by the System63 SRT preamp and the piezo element.

The CPX1000: Shaping

The CPX1000 has a solid spruce top with maple back and sides. The set-in neck is made of nato and has a rosewood fretboard that features mother-of-pearl diamond shape inlays. Rosewood has also been used for the bridge. Overall, the sound produced is well-balanced with light creamy, bright accents.

System63 SRT, A.F.R and tuner

The System63 SRT preamplifier and the piezo pickup not only deliver an accurate sound to your amp but also let you make adjustments. In addition to the 3-band EQ and the volume control, there are three microphone simulations to choose from that consist of the Neuman U67, the KM56, and the Royer R-122. There's also a Focus/Wide control with which you can further customise the acoustic sound and a Blend control which adjusts the mix between the pickup and the simulation. The natural acoustic sound can be emphasised using the Resonance potentiometer, protected using the Auto Feedback Reduction function and kept in perfect pitch using the built-in tuner.
