This affordable hollow-body guitar from the Electromatic series offers you the renowned Gretsch sound without any feedback issues. The G5620T-CB is equipped with a solid spruce interior 'center block' that runs along the length of its body, increasing its tone and reducing feedback at a high volume or when you're using high-gain distortion. The guitar features a comfortably slim thinline body with a single cutaway, a classic Georgia Green finish and sixties-style cat's eye sound holes. A Black Top Filter'Tron bridge pickup and a Gretsch Super HiLo'Tron neck pickup provide a clear tone with a deep bass.

Gretsch G5620T-CB Electromatic: construction and hardware

The body of the Gretsch G5620T-CB is constructed from high-grade 5-ply maple. Both top and back are arched and fitted with pretty bindings. The neck of the guitar is also made of maple and features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, a 12.5-inch radius and Neo-Classic Thumbnail position markers. A three-way pickup switch, volume and tone controls per pickup and a master volume knob are at your disposal, as well as a fully adjustable Adjusto-Matic bridge with a Bigsby-licensed B70 vibrato tailpiece. Additionally, the guitar is fitted with a set of solid Grover kidney-shaped tuners and a black pickguard adorned with a white Gretsch logo.
