Gretsch proudly present a Limited Edition of the popular G5420TG in a classic 50s style Orange Stain high-gloss finish. This Electromatic Hollow-Body has been equipped with gold-plated hardware, a tortoise-style pickguard and sports extra large bound F-holes in its 5-ply maple body for an instantly-recognisable look. Play proud with this semi-acoustic guitar that lives and breathes pure Gretsch style.
G5420TG: Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Lively and resonant are two words that sum up this hollow body's sound perfectly. It's equipped with two Black Top Filter'tron pickups that deliver a powerful punch with excellent presence. In essence, it's that typical sound that has set Gretsch apart from other guitar manufacturers since the early years of rock 'n' roll. You'll still be able to enjoy a bright sound at lower volumes too thanks the addition of a treble bleed circuit on the master volume control. There are two other volume controls, a master tone knob and a 3-way pickup switch that allow you to tweak your tone to perfection.
