Gretsch's Streamliner series includes this attractively-priced G2655T Center Block Junior that offers excellent playing comfort and sound. This semi-acoustic guitar has a compact body shape with a stylish finish and a Bigsby Licensed tremolo. It also features two Broad’Tron humbuckers, making it perfect for rockabilly, jazz, and rock guitarists who want to play at higher volume levels and love to add tremolo to their sound.

Wood types and tones

The G2655T has a body made of laminated maple and a set neck made of nato with a laurel fretboard. This gives it prominent, well-defined tones with warm, round accents. The Center Block in its name refers to the block of wood (made of spruce) that runs through the centre of its body to reinforce the top and prevent any problems with feedback. This also means you can crank up the volume on this model whenever you like!

Broad’Tron and Bigsby vibrato

The two Broad’Tron humbuckers on this Streamliner deserve special attention. They're a powerful pair of pickups that deliver solid bass, growling mids and sparkling highs, which makes this guitar sound so unique. The Licensed Bigsby B50 on this G2655T enables you to add subtle vibrato effects to 'That Great Gretsch Sound'. Lastly, the Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone string nut both contribute to the great tuning stability of this high-quality Center Block Junior.

Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Centerblock Junior Fairlane Blue

Erg slechte gitaar is na 2 jaar mijn oordeel. Ontstemd erg vaak en veel, ineens een 1/4 toon hoger of lager binnen 1 minuut spelen na stemming, dan weer stemmen en weer na 1 minuut. Al van alles gedaan aan de gitaar, onderdelen uit Engeland laten komen zoals een rollerbridge ed. inmiddels 350 euro aan deze gitaar verspijkerd zonder resultaat. Stemsleutels zijn ook erg slechte kwaliteit, zeker geen kwaliteit hardware op deze gitaar en het hout werkt als een gek, totaal instabiel en ongeschikt voor gigs. Mijn eerste Gretch (troep) naast verschillende fenders en andere, Ik ben gelijk klaar met Gretch!

Bonne guitare, relativement polyvalente.

La réalisation est sans fautes, la peinture est bien réalisée et il n'y a pas de défauts à relever.

Niveau son sans être exceptionnels, les micros font le job sans problème que ce soit en clair ou saturé.

Tout l'accastillage est de bonne facture, les mécaniques tiennent bien et le bigsby est efficace.

Le seul point noir que je relève, c'est une vibration assez prononcée du chevalet qui a vide m'exaspère, c'est étrange qu'ils ne l'ai pas vu au contrôle.

Je pense qu'une goûte de vernis sur les vis corrigerait le problème.

Sinon dans l'ensemble la Gretsh g2655t est attachante, et quel look !!!!
