The 1965 Stratocaster is characterised by its thicker, yet more comfortable C-profile neck. Contrary to previous models, its rosewood fretboard is just several millimetres thick and follows the radius. The position markers have grown bigger and are made of mother-of-pearl. The American Vintage '65 Stratocaster Left Handed is equipped with Grey Bottom single coils that have an authentic sound. These pickups are wound with enamel-coated wire, by original specifications. Other vintage-accurate details include a lightweight alder body, an 11-hole white pickguard and Pat.Pend. stamped steel bridge saddles. The guitar features Fender's nitrocellulose Flash Coat lacquer in the right colour and pattern Sunburst. It comes with a period-correct black case and replica case candy.
