Presenting a fully souped-up yet still affordable edition of a legend, the Squier Contemporary Active Jazzmaster wields the might of two active ceramic SQR humbuckers that, with the help of a 9V circuit, deliver three powerful voicings. Choose your poison via the three-way pickup switch then season the output to taste using the fuss-free set of volume and tone pots while smooth and familiar playability is supplied by the C-profile neck and fast rhythm and lead work is fully supported by the slightly flatter-than-average 12 inch fretboard radius.

The Squier Contemporary Active Jazzmaster: Deluxe Detailing

To aid nimble fret-work, the maple neck has been given a coat of satin-gloss and the classic offset poplar body bears a high-gloss paint-job. The whole look has been finished with the modern flair of all-black hardware, a matching pickguard, and a matched black headstock, striking an awesome balance between deluxe function and aesthetics.

A Jazzmaster with a Modern Grit and Old-School Vibe

The two-point synchronised tremolo bridge features a set of six adjustable block saddles and a tremolo arm for adding expressive flair, while the synthetic bone nut and a set of closed oil-bath machine heads ensure excellent vibrational transfer as well as stable intonation and tuning. Basically, you're getting the full old-school vibe of a Jazzmaster loaded with the modern grit of active electronics and up-to-date hardware.
