SL3X Soloist: a comfortable instrument

Jackson guitars are characterised by their relatively wide, flat necks. As such, they make it easy to play chords and give you plenty of space between the strings for tasteful vibrato. The SL3X Soloist also boasts a rosewood fretboard with a compound radius that flattens out as you move along the neck towards the body, allowing for easy string bending. Jackson Guitars: innovative designs

Jackson Guitars originated in 1980, when talented young guitarist Randy Rhoads approached Wayne Charvel - then the owner of Charvel's Guitar Repair shop - with an idea for an innovative V model. In collaboration with Tim Wilson and Mike Shannon, the Concorde was created. This guitar was so different from the other instruments Charvel was issuing at the time, that guitar builder Grover Jackson decided to introduce them under his own name. Thanks to their stylish designs, fast necks and powerful sound, Jackson guitars are perfect for hard rock and metal.
