The Jackson Pro Dominion is the signature model of Lamb Of God guitarist Mark Morton. This guitar, with its exceptional shape, has been built completely in line with the wishes of this extremely fast, shredding guitar player. As such, it’s got a chambered mahogany body, decorated with chic bindings. The neck is also made of mahogany and runs through the entire length of the body for more stability and extra sustain. The Pro Dominion has an ebony fretboard with 22 frets and shark eye inlays. It also features a compound radius that starts with 12 inches and widens to 16 inches, allowing you to play your chords comfortably and to make perfect string bends. The Jackson Pro Dominion is available as a Black Beauty and as this Ivory version.
Jackson Pro Dominion Ivory: DiMarzio and Tonepros
This shredding machine is armed with a set of DiMarzio humbucker pickups that have been developed for Mark Morton specifically. These Dominion pickups have a bright, tight voice and produce a medium output to compensate the warm tone of the guitar and Mark's high-gain amplifier. Both humbuckers can be switched to work as single coils by means of mini switches. This way, you can get a tight, clean sound. The gold-coloured hardware of the Pro Dominion consists of a set of Jackson locking tuners which allow you to quickly change strings and guarantee a stable tuning. It also includes a Tonepros bridge and tailpiece with integrated locking screws for a tighter and more pure tone.
