Ever dreamt of adding something special to your guitar collection? Here's your chance: the Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Roasted '61 Strat Super Heavy Relic is already an collector's item, donning a jaw-dropping Aged Sherwood Green over 3-Color Sunburst finish to give the axe the looks and feel of an instrument that's already shined on a thousand stages. The two-piece alder body has been even roasted which gives the wood a deluxe dark tint and removes any moisture from it, boosting both the sustain and resonance.

The Limited Edition Roasted '61 Strat: The Real Deal

Like the body, the quarter-sawn maple neck has also been roasted and features a solid C-profile and a flat-laminated, 9.5"-radiussed rosewood fretboard finished with twenty-one jumbo frets. As you might expect, this Custom Shop model comes complete with a deluxe case, a guitar strap and a certificate of authenticity. Only a few will ever be made so, in addition to a bone-fide Stratocaster, this guitar is also a serious investment.

Fierce & Versatile Sound

To guarantee a range of blazing sounds fit for a wide selection of styles, the Custom Shop team have decided to arm this special Fender Strat with a set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Texas Special Single-Coil Strat pickups. As a sweet bonus, they've also added 1/2-blender wiring, meaning you're free to blend the sound of the neck and bridge pickups when the 5-way pickup switch is in either the first or the second position. In short: a massively adaptable axe with a mind of its own.
