In addition to all the upgrades that come naturally with a guitar from the American Standard series, the American Standard Tele HH features two feisty Fender Twin Head Humbuckers that produce a powerful, rich sound to make this Telecaster suitable for numerous types of music. In the bridge position, the Twin Head produces a powerful, bright sound. In the neck position, there's a slightly warmer-sounding pickup underneath a chrome protective cover. The neck of this American Standard Telecaster HH features a rosewood fretboard which gives this guitar a slightly warmer sound than its maple-fretboard counterparts.

American Standard upgrades

Instruments among the ranks of Fender's American Standard series have received several upgrades. For one, this particular guitar features a bridge with six individually adjustable saddles (as opposed to a classic Telecaster 3-saddle bridge), for improved intonation. Additionally, this bridge is mounted to the lightweight alder body with no fewer than five screws. The body features a contour so that it rests against your body comfortably. The Bi-Flex truss rod system in the neck offers great playing comfort and allows for very low action.
