This dark-red Tele from the American Standard series is the epitome of American quality. The American Standard Telecaster represents the new standards for Fender's legendary iconic guitar from the fifties. It has the same looks and bright sound but it has been improved in many ways to maximise playing comfort and reliability. For one, it features the Stratocaster-like ergonomic body contour on the back and a Bi-Flex truss rod in the neck. Thanks to a flatter fretboard with a 9.5-inch radius you can make effortless bends without buzzing, even at a low action. This particular guitar has a Bordeaux Metallic finish and a maple neck (MN).

Fender American Standard Telecaster: fully modern

Thanks to several modern upgrades, this Tele fully complies with today's standards. In addition to the two-way truss rod - that allows you to make the neck more concave or convex - the guitar is fitted with Fender's Micro-Tilt system, which enables you to adjust the angle of the neck without having to modify the body or place shims in the neck pocket. The bridge of the Fender American Standard Telecaster is made of brass and features steel strings and a five screw mounting for improved tonal transference, resulting in more tone and sustain. One of the most notable upgrades is the duo of Fender Custom Shop pickups - a Broadcaster in the bridge position and a Twisted Tele at the neck. These single-coil pickups produce the classic Telecaster bite and twang, with a bit more output and bass.

More than any other classic electric guitar, the Telecaster takes the limelight with an undeniably characteristic sound that is defined by a clear and sparkling trebles and warm, balanced mids. In addition to the excellent Custom Shop pickups, the one-piece maple neck and solid alder body (with its thin layer of lacquer) create a rich resonance throughout the entire instrument. The Fender Telecaster is mostly associated with country music. But, as rock, blues, funk and even jazz guitarists can confirm, the Tele is capable of producing a wide range of versatile sounds that have the power to conquer any musical genre.
