For many guitarists, the American Fender Stratocaster is the ultimate guitar. Its recognizable sound and shape has made it a music industry icon for decades. This Strat has outfitted this traditional style with a few additions, like the Greasebucket tone circuit, a broad string nut and a high-gloss urethane finish, for a modern sound and performance. American Special Stratocaster: Texas Special and Greasebucket tone circuit

To get that beloved Strat sound, the Fender American Special Stratocaster has been equipped with no less than three Fender Custom Shop Texas Special elements. The Alnico 5 single-coil pickups are perfect for that famous Texas blues sound, characterized by its sharp mids, crystal clear trebles and tight basses. These single coils are overwound for a little extra output, and resulting in an even richer sound. Another clever addition is the Greasebucket tone circuit, which allows you to filter the high frequencies out of your tone without losing gain. In short, this American Strat embodies the versatile character you can expect from Fender.

Fender American Special guitars and bass guitars
