The vintage three-colour sunburst finish wraps up an ultra-modern build of a lightweight basswood body and baked maple neck and fretboard. The roasted treatment of the neck doesn't just boost elegance, but removes moisture from the wood, increasing the density and raising both the stability and resonance through the roof.

Tight & Defined Warmth

The WG Standard is home to two direct-mounted Wolfgang humbuckers: a pair of metal and rock focussed double-coils that spit immediately tight definition as well as full, high-gain output. Both pickups feature a 'mid-forward' design, meaning that they wield powerful, mix-puncturing tone thanks to masses of mid-range presence and have been teamed up with a treble bleed circuit, so that same level of bite is maintained even when the volume pot is rolled back. Meanwhile, the EVH branded Floyd Rose bridge guarantees solid tuning - even despite all that extreme dive bombing - and the compound fretboard radius has an especially light, controlled, and above all, comfortable feel all the way up the neck. Topped off by a Floyd Rose R2 locking nut, this refined stage beast comes fully kitted out for shredding guitarists.
