Descrizione

The ESP LTD AJ-7 is an Andy James signature that is exactly the same as the AJ-1, apart from its seventh string, that is. This delightfully straightforward black shredder axe has the characteristic body shape as the instruments from LTD's H series and is made of mahogany, for a powerful, warm yet clear base tone. Two active EMG humbuckers (the 66 and 57) take care of combining clarity with punchy vintage sounds that are rich in headroom. The guitar's neck-through-body and strings-through-body construction ensure its excellent sustain.

AJ-7: seven-string metal

Andy James is a modern day guitar hero. With his impressive metal moves and vivid videos, he has already assembled quite a few followers. Naturally, the properly popular guitar instructor couldn't be omitted from ESP's signature artists and he was invited to comprise a list of his favourite features. Of course the AJ-7 needed to be a genuine shredding guitar, equipped with a seventh string, EMG pickups, extra large frets (for comfortable string bends) and a smooth, slender U-profile neck.

ESP's LTD guitars

LTD is a subdivision of the renowned ESP brand. Many hard rock and heavy metal guitar players, ranging from amateur to professional to rock legend, own an ESP guitar. ESP offers several series, including a large number of signature models made in collaboration with famous artists. LTD guitars are perfect if a professional instrument is out of your reach just yet. They offer durable quality, a beautiful shape, a tasteful finish and excellent sound at a reasonable price.
