L'adattatore per corde per basso senza testa a 5 corde Steinberger STADB05 è stato progettato per i modelli Steinberger come lo Spirit XT-25 Standard e consente di utilizzare corde rifinite con un solo ball-end. Questo piccolo strumento economico può essere un vero e proprio salvavita quando si scopre troppo tardi che si sono esaurite le corde per basso con doppio ball-end.

Ha scritto quanto segue su Steinberger STADB05 5-String Headless Bas String Adapter

Very impressed with the string adapter. Cheap and easy to install,and no drilling required. It took a while to figure out how much string to thread through so I had enough slack to tune it to pitch. The adapter does not look out of place but the downside is that you will now have sharp bits of string poking out the end of the neck. I have covered the ends with black electrical tape for now. Overall I would recommend this if you want to put your favourite regular strings on your Steinberger bass.It arrived on time, my only gripe with Bax is that the adapter arrived in a cardboard case the size of a briefcase!
