This straight-up three-piece is the logical follow up to the incredible success of Tama's S.L.P. Fat Spruce snare. What's unusual here is that each shell has been shaped using spruce so that they produce a unique sound that strikes an excellent balance between the low and mid frequencies. Die-cast tensions hoops support this particular sound with a bright, focused and fat attack and, since these Turquoise coated shells come without a snare, cymbals or hardware, they're the perfect starting point for a fully customised kit.

The Tama LSP30CS-TUQ S.L.P. Fat Spruce 3-Piece

This shell-set comes with a 20x 14-inch kick drum, a 12x 8-inch tom and and 14x 14-inch floor tom. The 6-ply tom and floor tom shells are 5mm thick and the kick has an 8-ply 7mm thick shell. Each shell comes fitted with a high-quality Evans G1 heads and the flexible tuning range set makes this set suited to pretty much any playing style. Tune it to a higher pitch for some refined jazz then tune it back down to a mid-range for R&B, blues, ballads and indie rock.
