The Pearl Export Series is back, and it's all new! The excellent build quality of these beginner drum sets have drawn attention back to these new kits. It has created somewhat of a revival for this series of affordable yet high-quality drum sets - and justly so!

Deep sound

The 7.5mm thick shells are made from 6 plies of poplar and Asian mahogany and have 45-degree bearing edges that, combined with the 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops, give the Pearl Export its deep, rich sound. Even the lugs have been shortened for better resonance and maximum tone.

Opti-Loc mounts

The new triangular Opti-Loc tom mounting system is another tweak that improves tom resonance. Pearl has made sure not to compromise the stability of your toms. The 6-ply snare drum (that comes as a standard part of the set) is 14 x 5.5 inches and because of that, you can use it in a variety of musical styles. The drum set comes with Pearl's new HWP-830 series of hardware (stands for your snare drum, hi-hats and cymbals) and the P-90 Demonator bass drum pedal.
