Export Series kits are the most popular that Pearl have ever produced, and for good reason. This fierce five-piece comes in a Smokey Chrome wrap complete with a full HWP-830 hardware pack, a P-930 Demonator kick pedal, and a Sabian SBR Performance cymbal pack. Every shell has been enhanced by Pearl's own Superior Shell Technology; a process where the wood is well dried out before being carefully bonded to ensure a strong yet resonant construction; and for minimum contact between the tom shells and mounts, Pearl have set this kit up with the Opti-Loc mounting system to allow maximum shell resonance.

The Pearl EXX725SBR-C21 Export in Smokey Chrome: 6-ply Shells

Each shell has 7.5mm-thick, 6-ply poplar and Asian mahogany hybrid walls finished with 45° bearing edges and fitted with 1.6mm triple-flanged tensions hoops. This build is what gives the Export its distinctive depth and richness of sound, while the carefully designed lugs have been mounted to ensure minimal contact with the shells, maximum resonance, and increased sustain.

A Complete Setup

The Pearl EXX725SBR-C21 kit is made up of a 22-inch by 18-inch bass drum, a 10-inch by 7-inch and a 12-inch by 8-inch tom, a 16-inch by 16-inch floor tom, and a 14-inch by 5.5-inch snare, and each drum comes with pre-installed Remo batter and resonant heads. The Sabian cymbal pack sets you up with a 14-inch hi-hat, a 20-inch ride and a 16-inch crash. And to complete the set, the HWP-830 hardware pack includes a pair of cymbal stands, a snare stand, and a hi-hat stand, while the P-930 Demonator kick pedal tops everything off. Whether honing your rudiments, or rehearsing, performing, or recording with the band, this solid all-rounder of a kit can take on pretty much any playing style and support any skill level.
