This four-piece CC1-R444-COS Copper Sparkle shell set features a typical rock configuration, consisting of a 24-inch bass drum, a 12-inch tom, a 16-inch floor tom and a 14 x 6.5-inch snare drum. It combines a gorgeous finish with excellent sound characteristics, and has a remarkably attractive price tag.

The shells of this four-piece Copper Sparkle rock set are made of 7-ply mahogany, a rugged wood type that is often used for instruments due to its warm sound characteristics and excellent resonating qualities. The 30-degree bearing edges of the Catalina Club 2014 shells increase the resonating ability of the mahogany, delivering that unique Gretsch sound. The Gretsch CT1-R444-COS shell set is supplied with single-ply Remo drumheads.

This Catalina Club 2014 Copper Sparkle rock shell set sports a number of new features, including its Catalina mini lugs. Gretsch Drums CC1-R444-COS Catalina Club 2014 Copper Sparkle

Voor een semi-pro drummer is deze rock set-up ideaal. De 24x14 inch kick kan laag worden gestemd, maar behoudt hierin een fijne attack en korte sustain. De toms zijn vol van klank waarvan de 16 inch echt een rauwe v6 engine is. De houten snare is eenvoudig te stemmen en heeft na wat demping een goede sound. Verder is de kit mooi afgewerkt en was de levering via bax-shop uiteraard helemaal top.
