This Gretsch CA1-E825-WNB Catalina Ash 5-part shell set is a real gem. The dark brown, matte Walnut Natural Burst finish provides the shells with a natural but gorgeous look and really brings out the beautiful grain of the wood. The Catalina Ash shell set consists of a 22-inch bass drum, two toms of 10 and 12 inches respectively, a 16-inch floor tom and a snare drum of 14 by 5.5 inches. The ash shells produce a warm sound with a solid attack.

Snare drum

The five-part CA1-E825-WNB shell set includes a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum with a finish that matches the other shells and a throw-off system for quick and easy adjustment of its snare wires. The snare features triple-flanged hoops for an open sound and is fitted with a white batter head from Remo's Ambassador series.

Lightweight construction

This Catalina Ash set features lightweight hardware that allows the shells to resonate freely, resulting in an exceptional sound. The double tom holder on the bass drum has a new, ultra-slim design that enables you to place the toms closely together.
