This Gretsch CA1-E825-RBB Red Black Burst shell set was introduced during the Musicmesse 2014. For years, Gretsch has been known as a manufacturer of high-quality drum kits, and this shell set is no exception. Comprised of a 22-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 16-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum, the set offers a great rock fusion configuration - a term that refers to the combination of a large bass drum and standard-size toms. The hybrid kit delivers deep bass tones and is equipped with Remo drumheads.

Shells

The shells of the Gretsch CA1-E825-RBB set are made of 6-ply ash, a rugged wood type that produces a warm tone. The set includes a special tom holder that can accommodate an optional 7/8-inch cymbal arm, ensuring a space-efficient stage setup with easy access to your cymbal.
