The Alesis Strike Kit electronic drum kit combines the advantages of digital technology with the authentic playing feel of an acoustic kit. It has wooden shells with mesh drum heads for a natural response that feels just like an acoustic drum head. The Strike Kit consists of a 14-inch snare, 8, 10 and 12-inch toms and a 14-inch bass drum. The tension is easy to adjust with the included drum key.

3-Zone Strike Cymbal Pads

The Strike Kit is equipped with 3-zone Strike cymbal pads for the 16-inch ride, 14-inch crash and 12-inch hi-hat. All are covered in a rubber coating and ensure a natural playing feel while offering plenty of control and response. Compared with other cymbal pads, they have a large bell and are very quiet. They even boast a realistic-looking pattern that looks as though they've been hammered just like metal cymbals!

Performance Module

At the heart of this kit is Alesis' Performance Module that holds more than 1000 drum and percussion samples. It also features 200 realistic pre-programmed drum kits, and thanks to the Strike Software editor, you can create your own custom kits and load them into the kit via USB. The module boasts an on-board sampling option and has an SD card slot as well as a USB/MIDI connection. Finally, there's a 4.3-inch colour LED display that shows you your current selections and settings.
