Fender's Player Precision Bass combines traditional design with a modern sound and a high-level of playing comfort. It's the perfect choice for bassists who want an attractively-priced, great-looking instrument with a powerful sound. The Player series offers the same great quality as the Standard series that came before and, just like its predecessor, is also made in Mexico.

Playing comfort

This P bass has a maple neck with a smooth satin-gloss finish and modern C profile. The nut has a relatively narrow width of 41.3 mm; the fretboard has a 9.5-inch radius and you get 20 medium jumbo frets. All of this means that when your hand is wrapped around the neck, there is an all round sense of playing comfort and the satin finish makes sure there's no fear of slipping during those sweatier jam sessions.

Punchy sound

Fender has been building their solid body instruments with alder since 1956. It's a lightweight wood that makes for a bright, balanced sound. Mount the body with the specially developed Player Series split single-coil and you have the authentic P-bass sound. Bright, powerful and punchy. Listen closely and you can hear the distinctive sound of this classic and endlessly versatile bass on countless albums and in numerous genres.

Fender Player Precision Bass Capri PF

Hoewel Mexicaanse gitaren en bassen in het verleden niet de beste reputatie hadden hoef je online niet ver te zoeken om te zien dat in de afgelopen 5-10 jaar ze flink aan de weg hebben getimmerd. Dit zijn prachtige instrumenten. En hoewel ze niet goedkoop zijn scheelt het je made in USA belasting. Echte aanrader als dit in je budget valt! Ik ben zelf erg blij met de keuze voor Capri orange maar als je een meer klassieke kleur wil zijn die er ook.
