Descrizione

The most popular characteristics of a '60s-style Jazz Bass were all developed about halfway through the decade and include separate volume controls per pickup, a '60s neck profile and a tortoiseshell-style pickguard. This American Original '60s Jazz Bass has all of these features, giving it a serious Sixties vibe as well as the same look, feel and sound of an original '60s vintage Jazz Bass without the same price tag. This model has an alder body, a maple neck with a '60s C profile, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius and a rosewood fretboard with 20 tall frets and clay dot position markers. The body and neck both have a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.

American Original ‘60s Jazz Bass: Mid-Sixties Bass Sound

Apart from the playing comfort offered by the features above, this Fender American solid-body also has the right sound. This is thanks to two Pure Vintage ‘64 Jazz Bass single-coil pickups fitted with Alnico 5 magnets that deliver the sort of full and punchy bass the mid-sixties was renowned for.
