Descrizione
Hofner - the amiable German company - offers an environmentally friendly alternative to the classic violin bass guitar. In response to the shrinking supply in wood types such as rosewood and ebony, this violin bass' fretboard is made of a modern composite material that goes by the name Necuron-840 (which - in spite of its name - is made right here on earth). All of the other bits of this electric hollow-body bass guitar are made of eco-friendly, high-quality wood types and have the same specs as the legendary Hofner violin bass guitars.
Hofner Eco Violin Bass Black: a subtle amplification of its rich core sound
The rich tonal basis of this Hofner is laid by its maple back and sides in collaboration with the spruce top. The violin bass' body is home to a set-in slender, smooth-to-play neck - the neck is made of the famous combination of maple and birch as can be found on the Hofner 500. The hollow-body bass sound is reliably amplified by two Staple Nickel humbuckers and can subsequently be accurately tuned via the traditional electronics. Other great features of the Hofner Eco Violin Bass are its light weight and included case.

Many guitarists and bass players, ranging from amateurs to professionals, choose Hofner instruments for their attractive combination of tone, comfort and high build quality.
