The Jaguar Bass MN from Fender's Player series takes elements from their classic bass models to make an elegant, modern-looking, offset solid-body bass with a versatile PJ pickup configuration. This version has a maple neck and fretboard that have been given satin-gloss and high-gloss finishes respectively. The Player Jaguar bass is equipped with a J-style single-coil pickup at the bridge for a full, growling Jazz bass sound, while the split single-coil in the middle gives you the clear sound of a Precision bass. Both pickups have Alnico 5 magnets and share passive electronics.

Thanks to a volume control for each pickup you can choose which one you want to hear or go with a combination of both. You can also tweak the sound by using the tone control giving you plenty of versatility. Fender has ensured that the Player Jaguar bass is comfortable to play too.
