Fender American Standard Dimension Bass V HH: clear and powerful

The Fender Bass V is equipped with two Dimension pickups that were designed specifically for the 5-string bass guitar and that transfer the tone of the wood types clearly and powerfully. Unlike single-coils, these double-coil pickups eliminate the typical 60-cycle hum. This electric bass guitar by Fender is perfect for funk, rock and progressive types of music. The Dimension Bass V HH comes with a case.

American Standard Dimension HH bass guitars

The Dimension bass guitars have been introduced into the American Standard series, Fender's flag-ship series of top-shelf guitars made in the United States. There are several maple-fretboard versions available in Olympic White and Ocean Blue Metallic. The 3-colour Sunburst and Black feature a rosewood fretboard. Several of the guitar's striking features include an asymmetrical neck heel, stealth string retainers and easily accessible Spoke Wheel truss rod adjustment.

Fender American Standard Dimension Bass V HH 3-Color Sunburst RW

Blijkbaar gaan de producten weg als NOS (New Old Stock) waardoor je voor weinig een echte top bas kunt scoren. Ik heb ook een USA Deluxe versie en moet eerlijk zeggen dat de Std mijn voorkeur heeft. De Std heeft meer karakter doordat de elektronica je toon niet beïnvloed. Prima bas en een mooie aanvulling op mijn USA Jazz Deluxe. Voor mij een blijvertje en waarschijnlijk nu al een collectors item omdat de passieve HH versies niet meer gemaakt worden. Dus als je er nog 1 kan scoren, doen!
