ESP/LTD joined forces with Slayer bass player/lead singer Tom Araya to create this excellent bass guitar. As a base for the LTD TA-600 BLK (Black) they opted for the striking Forest model which, in this case, is made of alder. Alder is a type of wood that is comfortably light of weight and that produces a highly balanced sound. The neck-through-body construction ensures a good dose of sustain and attack. This is a beautiful, reliable instrument for serious advanced players.

The TA-600: strikingly broad sound

The active EMG 35DC, of which there are two on this guitar, is one of Tom Araya's favourite pickups. This pickup offers an exceptionally large range to come to the aid of both clean trebles and roaring bass tones. Naturally, this guitar caters to metal bass players with its fast slender neck and extra-high frets. Additionally, the LTD TA600 is equipped with reliable Grover machine heads.
