The RB-1005SM Natural is a 5-string electric bass guitar with a natural-coloured finish from LTD's RB-1000 series. This series comprises six beautiful bass guitars that have a gorgeous wood grain, amazingly accentuated by the transparent lacquer. The RB-1005SM Natural features a solid Spalted Maple top and a lightweight Swamp Ash body that make sure that the bass sound - despite its fifth string - still sounds sparkling with a powerful response and plenty of warmth and sustain. This bass guitar is additionally equipped with an extra-slender bolt-on neck as well as an Aguilar 2-band EQ and P/J pickup configuration.

Smooth neck and great sound

The extra-slender U-profile neck and double cutaway allow for fast playing and a quick and easy reach of any note. To make sure the thin neck doesn't break it is made of five parts of maple and walnut. The fretboard is also made of maple and provides for a delightfully clear edge. The split single-coil at the neck and single-coil in the bridge position are made by Aguilar and are perfectly balanced to produce a dynamic, full sound. The overall volume and balance between both specially designed 5-string pickups are steplessly adjustable. Additionally, you can freely adjust the timbre via the built-in active Aguilar 2-band preamp with tone control.
